Illinois State Grotto Association Past Presidents
Illinois State Grotto Association currently represents nine Grottoes, Seven are in Illinois: Abbas (Peoria), Aliabad (Joliet), Chi-Ill (Villa Park), El Jaala (Chicago), Gao (Danville), Illini (Mahomet), and Zingabad (Jacksonville). Artanban (Waukesha, WI) and Mohassan (Davenport, IA) are our two out of state Grottoes.
There are also several Grottoes in Illinois which have closed over the years, they are Aderkand (E. St. Louis), Agra (LaSalle), Amoo (Rock Island), Arak (Champaign), Aryan (Chicago), Babar (Springfield), Beder (Alton), El Karaz (Sterling), Ghazzeh (Quincy), Irin (Pekin), Kermanshah (Chicago), Koom (Rockford), Koom (Macomb), Murga (Galesburg), Najeeba (Chicago), Zal (Moline), and Zohak (Decatur).
